A multi-purpose, neutral, silicone sealant cures in the presence of moisture and forms a durable, resilient rubber.
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
The substrate must be solid, clean and dry, free from loose parts, grease stains, etc.
A good joint is one that can withstand the displacement of boundary adjacent elements. The depth of the joint should always be in exact proportion to the width of the joint. As a general rule, the ratio of the depth of joint to width is 1:1 with maximum joint width of 10 mm, and minimum of 5 mm. For joints wider than 10 mm, the ratio is 1:2 with a maximum width of up to 15 mm.
Cannot be colored. It is recommended to cover the edges of the joint with adhesive tape to prevent damage to the surfaces to be painted caused by silicone. See product datasheet for more detailed instructions.
12 months if stored as recommended in the original unopened package. Store in a dry place.
