Bekament hosts students from the "Miloš Savković" High School in Aranđelovac

LAST WEEK, BEKAMENT HOSTED STUDENTS FROM THE "MILOŠ SAVKOVIĆ" HIGH SCHOOL IN ARANĐELOVAC AT ITS FACTORY COMPLEX.

The visit was organized for first and second-year students enrolled in the "Applied Sciences" course, where, according to the November curriculum, they are studying topics related to thermal insulation and multiphase systems.

Since these topics are closely related to Bekament's production processes and laboratory work, representatives from the company's Human Resources, Development and Technical Support, and Production Departments warmly welcomed the guests and organized professional presentations to acquaint them with the breadth and quality of Bekament's product range, particularly in the field of thermal insulation. During the visit, students also had the opportunity to tour the factory facilities, the laboratory, and quality control, which further contributed to their understanding of the technological strength of the company as a leader in the production of finishing materials for the construction industry.

Bekament will continue to support such and similar initiatives in the future, which contribute to the improvement of the educational system and enable the acquisition of new knowledge and practical application, providing opportunities for young talents in their further development.

Bekament HR Director at the 4th Lean & Kaizen Congress Serbia 2022

THE 4TH LEAN AND KAIZEN CONGRESS, TITLED "SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY AND TRANSFORM INTO A LEAN COMPANY," WAS HELD FROM OCTOBER 3 TO 4 AT THE CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL IN BELGRADE.

This year, the congress brought together more than 300 participants in one place, making it the largest Lean and Kaizen event in the region. Besides networking and socializing, attendees had the opportunity to hear from seven different panels, featuring directors from renowned companies operating in Serbia. In Panel 2, titled "LEAN COACHING – HOW TO CREATE A CULTURE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT WITH EMPLOYEES?", HR directors shared their experiences on how to create a culture of continuous improvement with people (not just tools).

Ivan Radukanović, HR Director at Bekament, was one of the panelists, where he had the opportunity to discuss various current topics related to employee care with the other participants—from motivation, methods for improving their knowledge and interpersonal skills, to performance reward systems and achieving greater employee satisfaction within the system they work in. We share with you a segment of Ivan's presentation, where during the panel he stated the following: "We are oriented towards empowering our teams to increase team performance, not individual performance. We want employees to encourage each other, to work as a team and achieve success together, and therefore we aim to create team responsibility, not individual responsibility. We want to involve our employees as much as possible in the system, in our culture, because it is important for them to understand that changes start with them." You can view the entire panel HERE.
