Bekament HR Director at the 4th Lean & Kaizen Congress Serbia 2022
THE 4TH LEAN AND KAIZEN CONGRESS, TITLED "SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY AND TRANSFORM INTO A LEAN COMPANY," WAS HELD FROM OCTOBER 3 TO 4 AT THE CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL IN BELGRADE.
This year, the congress brought together more than 300 participants in one place, making it the largest Lean and Kaizen event in the region. Besides networking and socializing, attendees had the opportunity to hear from seven different panels, featuring directors from renowned companies operating in Serbia. In Panel 2, titled "LEAN COACHING – HOW TO CREATE A CULTURE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT WITH EMPLOYEES?", HR directors shared their experiences on how to create a culture of continuous improvement with people (not just tools).
Ivan Radukanović, HR Director at Bekament, was one of the panelists, where he had the opportunity to discuss various current topics related to employee care with the other participants—from motivation, methods for improving their knowledge and interpersonal skills, to performance reward systems and achieving greater employee satisfaction within the system they work in. We share with you a segment of Ivan's presentation, where during the panel he stated the following: "We are oriented towards empowering our teams to increase team performance, not individual performance. We want employees to encourage each other, to work as a team and achieve success together, and therefore we aim to create team responsibility, not individual responsibility. We want to involve our employees as much as possible in the system, in our culture, because it is important for them to understand that changes start with them." You can view the entire panel HERE.
Bekament supported the volunteer action of the project “Learning Through Play”
The IGROM DO ZNANJA project by the volunteer group Designs Hub was approved as part of the 'What’s Hard for Us' competition within the national volunteering program YOUTH IS LAW 2022, approved by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
The volunteer action took place in celebration of World Children’s Week from October 3-7, 2022, with the goal of painting the concrete in the schoolyard of "Sonja Marinković" Primary School in Novi Sad with a series of educational motor skill courses that children can follow and master. These include the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, multiplication tables, the solar system, and other educational elements through which children improve their motor skills and acquire new knowledge in a fun way. Bekament supported this wonderful initiative by donating paint in various shades for the concrete, thereby enabling us to work together to make growing up more enjoyable for children.
