Reconstruction of the General Hospital in Aranđelovac
RECONSTRUCTION OF THE GENERAL HOSPITAL IN ARANĐELOVAC
Due to the extremely poor treatment conditions in the General Hospital of Aranđelovac, the company Bekament initiated the expansion of the hospital’s outpatient section, which includes a resuscitation department, specialist outpatient clinics, and an area for receiving vehicles with patients, as well as the reconstruction of part of the ground floor and expansion of the reception areas for the polyclinic outpatient and diagnostic section. The company invested financial and material resources and further organized a Foundation that continued to oversee the hospital reconstruction in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, local government, and businesspeople of Aranđelovac. Additionally, operators in Serbia, at the Foundation's request, provided a humanitarian SMS number, allowing interested citizens to donate funds to help raise money for the hospital's rehabilitation. All undertaken and implemented activities have contributed to improving the social and healthcare services for citizens and ensuring better working conditions in healthcare facilities.
