USE

One-component low expansion polyurethane foam for bonding and installation of facade insulation panels to concrete, gypsum and masonry, which cures in the presence of moisture. It has a very good structure and provides excellent adhesion even at a temperature of +5ºC. BK-Pur EPS Kleber H is insoluble after curing, mold resistant, permanently elastic and can be rendered over. When properly applied, the product contributes to energy savings and, as such, is widely used in low-energy buildings.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

The substrate must be solid, clean and dry, free of dust, grease stains, etc. The BK-Pur EPS Keber H is used by removing the cap and screwing the spray tube onto the top of the foam container. At low temperatures, leave the product container for at least one hour before use in warm or at room temperature. Shake container vigorously (at least 20 times) before use. Apply adhesive along the perimeter of the EPS board, 2-4 cm from the edge, and within the contour in parallel strips with a distance of about 30 cm between them. The recommended diameter of the strip applied with the gun is 3-4 cm. Installation of EPS boards to the final position is performed up to approximately 15 minutes before the adhesive begins to form the crust. EPS boards at the bottom of the wall must be secured to the bottom to avoid their slipping from the wall before the adhesive has cured (5-24 h). Fill the space between the styrofoam panels in order to achieve more efficient insulation.
