or bonding ceramic tiles max. dimensions 120×80, mosaics, marble, granite, natural and artificial stone to wall, floor and facade surfaces, exclusively on solid substrates (concrete, cement and lime mortars), for exterior and interior use. Excellent adhesion, high strength, flexibility and moisture resistance. Suitable for bonding low absorbent tiles (E ≤ 3%), large size tiles (up to 80cm), when installed on surfaces with existing tiles. Recommended for use in bathrooms, kitchens, pools and underfloor heating systems.

The substrate on which the adhesive is applied must be solid, clean, wearable, freeze-dried, free from staining, free of oil or paint residue. Before bonding the tiles, it is advisable to coat the BK-Ultra Prime substrate in order to improve the adhesion of the adhesive. For optimal results when bonding the tiles on low-absorbent surfaces as well as when bonding the tile to the tile in combination with the BK-Bond primer. Preparation is carried out by adding the 25 kg powder in about 6.5l water with vigorous stirring until complete homogenization. Allow the mass to stand for about 10 minutes, then stir again to obtain a suitable density adhesive. Apply the adhesive with a serrated trowel with a suitable tooth size so that at least 65% of the surface of the tile is covered with adhesive (for internal use) a minimum 90% (in case of external use). The size of the teeth depends on the size of the tiles (4-6 mm optimal for tiles size 10-25 cm). Insert the tiles into the adhesive layer on the substrate, and if the surface is uneven, apply the tile to the tile, thus leveling. High absorbent, porous tiles should be moistened before installation. Remove excess adhesive with a damp sponge and mechanically seal the hardened parts. Remove excess adhesive in joints mechanically. See product datasheet for more detailed instructions.
