ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2022, A CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT THE SERBIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO PRESENT NEW BENEFITS INTRODUCED BY THE CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION FOR ALL COMPANIES HOLDING THE STATUS OF AUTHORIZED ECONOMIC OPERATOR (AEO). THIS COULD BRING TANGIBLE BENEFITS IN TERMS OF SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT IN TRADE AND THE ECONOMY FOR THE ENTIRE REGION IN THE COMING PERIOD. <\/strong><\/h4>\n

During the event, certificates were awarded to 11 new companies operating in sectors such as transport and logistics, energy, as well as manufacturing, from the food industry to pharmaceuticals. Among the new economic operators receiving this prestigious status in foreign trade, recognized by the World Customs Organization, was Bekament. Vladan Savi\u0107, Customs Representation Specialist, received the AEO certificate on behalf of Bekament. Obtaining the AEO certificate represents the highest confirmation of Bekament's responsibility and commitment to fulfilling the highly demanding, internationally recognized prerequisites and controls of the Customs Administration, adhering to strict rules and procedures to acquire a special status that includes simplifications and benefits in customs procedures, as well as the safety and security of shipments in the international supply chain. The primary advantages for Authorized Economic Operators (AEO) include dedicated counters at all customs branches with the necessary technical conditions, simplified customs procedure approvals, fewer physical and document inspections, priority handling of shipments selected for control, and the use of special traffic lanes where infrastructure allows.<\/p>\n
