For bonding ceramic tiles with a maximum dimension of 120x80, as well as mosaic, marble, granite, natural, and artificial stone to wall, floor, and facade surfaces, exclusively on solid substrates (cement, lime, and concrete-based mortars), for exterior and interior use. It provides excellent adhesion, high strength, flexibility, and moisture resistance. Suitable for bonding low absorbent tiles (E ≤ 3%), large-size tiles, installing on surfaces with pre-existing tiles, as well as surfaces with underfloor heating. For optimal results when bonding tiles on low-absorbent surfaces, use in combination with a BK-Bond primer.

Preparation and application :

The substrate to which the adhesive is applied must be solid, clean, durable, non-frozen, and free from efflorescence, oil residues, or paint. For optimal results when gluing tiles on poorly absorbent surfaces, as well as when gluing tiles to tiles, use in combination with BK-Ultra Prime primer. The preparation is performed by adding 5 kg of powder to about 1.35 l of water; 25 kg of powder to about 6.5 l of water with vigorous stirring until complete homogenization. Allow the compound to rest for about 10 minutes, then stir again to obtain a suitable adhesive density. Apply the adhesive using a serrated trowel with a suitable tooth size so that at least 65% of the surface of the tile is covered with adhesive (for interior use) and a minimum of 90% (for exterior use). The size of the teeth depends on the size of the tiles (4-6 mm optimal for tiles sized 10-25 cm). Press the tiles into the adhesive layer on the substrate, and if the surface is uneven, apply the adhesive also to the back of the tile to achieve leveling. Highly absorbent, porous tiles should be moistened before installation. Remove excess adhesive with a damp sponge and mechanically remove the hardened parts. Application temperature :

Substrate and air temperature + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C.

Time for application after opening :

Approximately 30 minutes (depending on the substrate and atmospheric conditions).

The possibility of grouting after :

Approx. 24h under drying at optimum conditions (23 ° C and 50-60% r.h.).

Consumption :

About 3-5 kg/m2, depending on the substrate and the thickness of the application.

Shelf life and storage :

12 months in original packaging in dry room on pallets.
