USE

Structural primer designed to increase and even the adhesion of poorly absorbent, smooth, high-density substrates prior to rendering with lime-cement and gypsum-lime mortars. BK-BetonKontakt is especially recommended for smooth concretes as well as prefabricated concrete surfaces. It is also used as a primer in tile installation systems.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

The substrate to which BK-BetonKontakt is applied must be solid, dry and dust-free. Prior to use, the product must be previously mixed and homogenized thoroughly. The primer is applied undiluted with a brush or a long-hair roller in one coat. Machine application with appropriate equipment is possible. The required drying time until the render is applied is min. 4 h.

The air and substrate temperatures during installation should be in the range from +5 ºC to +30 ºC. Do not work under direct sunlight, rain or strong wind. High humidity and low temperatures can significantly extend the drying time.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Up to 18 months in original sealed packing. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C, protected from direct sunlight and frost.
