One-component, low-expansion polyurethane foam specially developed for bonding light insulation materials and decorative elements made of polystyrene. Foam has a very good structure and excellent adhesion even at a temperature of + 5ºC. Excellent adhesion to concrete, mortar, walls, wood, polystyrene, unplasticized PVC, including modifi ed forged bitumen, etc. For very eff ective bonding and installation of insulation systems on vertical structures.
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
Use on dry and dust-free surfaces. Cover furniture and other surfaces that can get dirty. When storing at low temperatures, we recommend that the dose be tempered for one hour at room temperature before use. Instructions for use: Attach to the application gun with NSB thread. Shake the dose well (at least 30 times). Determine the required amount with a closing screw. When gluing polystyrene boards, apply foam on the area of the board with a deviation of 2-4 cm from the edge of the board, and inside the contour in successive strips with a distance of about 30 cm between them. Repeat the procedure with at least one strip in the middle along the length of the board. The recommended diameter of the “caterpillar” for gluing insulation components is approx. 2 to 4 cm. Lay the board against the wall and immediately press and align it with a long board. The surface of the board can be leveled up to approx. 6-10 minutes after gluing, depending on the ambient temperature (air and substrate). See the product data sheet for detailed instructions. Use BK-PU Cleaner to remove uncured material.
The PUR foam cleaner must not come into contact with polystyrene because it melts very quickly! Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
From +5°C to +35°C.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
18 months if stored as recommended in the original unopened package. Store at temperatures from +5°C to +25°C, protected from direct sunlight and frost.
